CHRISTINA M. LONG

OWNER/PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT

Christina M. Long brings more than 15 years of communication and design experience to CML Collective.

 

Her background in education, working for the state's largest public school system, as well as her years reporting for the state's largest newspaper, The Wichita Eagle, has helped Long develop an expertise in crafting, packaging and delivering messages for a variety of audiences.

​

Dedicated to her community, Long also serves as the President/CEO of Create Campaign, Inc., which helps urban entrepreneurs in Kansas to launch, innovate and excel. Long serves as the historian for Wichita Urban Professionals; editor of its premier publication, Urban Magnate; is the leader of NetWork Kansas' Wichita Urban E-Community and a board member of the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Recent awards include being named the Wichita Regional Chamber's Exceptional Young Leader,  Wichita Urban Professionals' Urban Woman Professional of the Year, 40 Under 40, Kansas Minority Business Advocate of the Year by the Kansas Department of Commerce's Office of Minority and Women Business and an Emerging Leader by the Wichita Business Journal. 

 

Long is a graduate of Wichita State University earning a degree in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism and a minor in Ethnic Studies. She is married and has three children.

Jonathan Long's professional experience spans the fields of journalism, education and workforce development. In each industry he has demonstrated the ability to be successful by harnessing his passion for including diverse perspectives.

 

Since arriving in Wichita in 2008, Jonathan has become actively involved in the leadership of the Wichita Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc. He is also a member of Real Men, Real Heroes and serves as a professional mentor for Wichita State University's Multicultural Mentor Program. In addition to these organizations, he was a participant in the 2015 Advance Kansas Diversity Leadership Program. 

 

Jonathan received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Jennings A. Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN and, in 2014, earned a MiniMPA Certificate from the Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs from Wichita State University. Jonathan's recent recognitions include receiving the 2015 Twyla J. McFall Young Achiever award. He also holds 15 employee recognition awards received during his tenure at the Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas 2012 to 2016 where his role as a Resource Coordinator is to help improve regional workforce development and strategize actions that result in process improvement.

Jonathan has served on the senior leadership team for T-Mobile and currently serves as the Director of Community Advancement for the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce in addition to his CML Collective work.

Mariah Seward brings a love of illustration and typography to her work as a freelance designer. Seward was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, but grew up in Wichita, KS and calls Wichita her home.

Mariah Seward is also a graduate of Wichita State University and studied Graphic Design.

My name is Iesha Henderson, I'm an enthusiastic graduate from Wichita State University with a Bachelor's degree in graphic design. I am a creative oriented individual that is thorough and attentive to detail in all professional matters. I work with a positive attitude and energy and can manage multiple projects in time management.

 

I was born and raised in Wichita, Ks, starting off as a child I developed a strong passion for anything illustration and anything that allowed me to be creative. As I got older it progressed with me throughout my high School years where I attended Wichita Heights High. I later decided I wanted to progress my talents even further and attend Wichita State University where I was determined to receive my degree in graphic design. 

 

Although, I spend most of my time working as an Independent designer I also like to stay active in my free time, weather it be exercising, attending graphic design events, or just spending time with family I always like to stay busy. I believe that staying creative and always finding new inspirations is the key to a successful designer.

BRIAJA A. TUCKER

Briaja Tucker is an intern serving for CML Collective.  She is a motivated team player and aspiring graphic designer seeking an opportunity to continue to master her skills and talents, while serving her community. 

 

Briaja is a 2019 Northwest High School graduate who has received many honors throughout her high school career.  She was named Salutatorian, National Honor Society Scholar, Kansas Honors Scholar, as well as, ranked in the top 10% of her class.

​

Briaja will be attending Butler Community College in the Fall where she will pursue higher education, with the goal of obtaining her bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University in graphic design.  Briaja is excited to join the CML Collective team and build upon the skills developed throughout high school as the primary designer for the Northwest Explorer newspaper.
